Transport

Melbourne's Tullamarine airport is approximately 25 minutes to the CBD with a variety of options for transport. For those preferring wanting to travel by taxi there are taxi ranks located close to all airport terminals. The SkyBus also offers direct transfers from the airport to Southern Cross Station which is a short walking distance to the conference venue and the recommend hotels. The departure location of the SkyBus is outside the main entrance of Terminal 4.

Once you arrive in Melbourne it is easy to get around the city with trains and trams at your doorstop. Please note that tram and train services in Melbourne use the
Myki public transport system. Getting between the conference venue and the dinner at Federation Wharf will be easy by taking the free CBD tram or taking the paid (Myki required) train. For those of you with Android phones you can utilise the new "mobile Myki" function - this feature is not yet available to iPhone users.  If you are planning on an extended stay in Melbourne or wish to explore outside of the free tram zone you may wish to order a Myki in advance and have it posted.
