Objective.

The objective of the Annual Meeting is to improve quality and accreditation practice through the provision of: 
  • in-depth discussion and analysis into key quality and accreditation issues;
  • interactive sessions on current practices such as assurance of learning, tips, techniques and pitfalls around preparing and managing peer review visits;
  • an opportunity for the accrediting bodies to engage with ANZQAN; and,
  • a forum for ANZQAN members to network and share ideas and practices.  

Schedule​.​

Sessions range from updates from EFMD, AACSB and QED, to contextualising internationalisation and ABDC social impact project updates, to managing data and AOL and making accreditation BAU and more . . .

Registration.

Registration for all sessions: $460 NZD per delegate. The registration fee is inclusive of all sessions regardless of attendance.
​Registration will open on 1 July at the latest.

University of Canterbury Ilam Campus

Accommodation.
 Christchurch has many wonderful hotels around the CBD. Please feel free to find your own hotel or book at one of the options we have listed below. Prices vary between these hotels but all are within walking distance of the CBD.
 
A major conference is being hosted in the central CBD near the square and many of the big brand hotels (Novatel, Ibis etc) are either fully booked or have very high prices for late November.
 
*Please note that there are no hotels in the immediate vicinity of the University and you will need to uber or taxi to the University (public transport is available but not ideal).
 
Preferred option - Closest to University of Canterbury – 5 minutes by car (on the UC side of Hagley Park)
Doubletree Hilton (Chateau on the Park) – Offer a very good Government/Corporate rate so please contact directly and ask for this rate or alternatively good rates can be found on Expedia and other booking platforms.

We are currently researching new suggestions for hotels as demand in the city is extremely high and our previous recommendations have all sold out.
